At 330 acres, Sun Country Resort, adjacent to Lake Whitney in Whitney, Texas, is one of the largest full service recreational parks in Texas, and is central to the DFW MetroPlex and the Waco/CenTex markets, just off of Interstate-35.

Our major facilities include an 18-hole golf course, an RV park of 125 sites plus rental units, over 300 long-term lease lots, and significant open areas and nature trails.

We offer nightly, weekly and monthly rentals, long-term residential lease lots, and golf course and camping memberships.

Fishing and water activities abound on Lake Whitney, Texas’ sixth largest lake at 24,000 acres. The lake is in view from Sun Country Resort, and we have waterfront picnic areas available by foot or golf cart from the park.
